Intro

In an effort to improve my photography I've decided to to take photos daily and post them on this blog. A daily photo won't always be possible and those days that it's not possible to post (read too drunk/hungover to operate a camera) I will post something previously taken.

Why The F Number? If you're privileged enough to have kept company with me you will know that The F Word features quite prominently in my vocab. The F Number also refers to the aperture (lens) opening on a camera and my preferred method of shooting, aperture priority, where you can choose the size of the lens opening.

Here's my first batch of pictures taken last night at A Touch of Madness in Observatory which is a veritable treasure chest for a photographer. I had quite a bit of success (and some failures) with low light photography. The photographs were taken in manual mode with a slow shutter speed and wide aperture, with/without flash and a high ISO.
